We put wind turbines on a plane. Using the same principles as generative braking electrical and hybrid cars, these will generate power during descent or deceleration and provide electrical assist to the engines, resulting in less fuel usage overall.
Especially in the aftermath of the pandemic, plane fares are expensive, as well as the fuel itself. This would allow cheaper fuel and cheaper tickets. This also provides cheaper shipping fares for companies and consumers.
Everyone benefits. Cheaper fares make travel, shipping, and general business cheaper. Through the effects of the supply chain, this would make lots of products cheaper, or provide larger profit margins.
